Known as the original German sausage, Chef Martin?s Bratwurst is made using an authentic German recipe and the finest ingredients. Fresh ground pork raised with no added antibiotics or hormones create a sausage which is soft in texture with a rich yet mild flavor. This sausage is fully steam cooked, white in color and stuffed in a pork casing. Bratwurst sausage and has been around for many generations. "Brat" means emulsified meat and "wurst" means sausage. Cooking suggestions: On the Grill: Grill about 6 minutes on high, turning after 3 minutes. Lower to medium heat. Grill for an additional 6 minutes, turning frequently. Pan saut‚: Saut‚ in vegetable oil for 10-12 minutes, turning frequently until golden brown.
