This sausage is Chef Martin?s personal favorite! Chef Martin?s Alpine Cheese Bratwurst is very popular in southern region of Austria known as Styria. Chef Martin only uses shoulder meat from pigs raised in the Midwest with no added antibiotics or hormones. It is mild in flavor and lightly smoked for a truly beautiful cheesy wurst. Enjoy these sausages simmered or grilled and served sliced with spicy mustard and fresh horseradish. Cooking suggestions: On the Grill: Grill about 6 minutes on high, turning after 3 minutes. Lower to medium heat. Grill for an additional 6 minutes, turning frequently. Pan saut‚: Saut‚ in vegetable oil for 10-12 minutes, turning frequently until golden brown.
